In Peter’s own story – ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ Peter and his sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy and Moppet, go out to play while their mother goes out. The sisters are well behaved but Peter goes where his mother tells him not to and gets into all sorts of scrapes when he is chased by Mr. McGregor. When he gets home he is not feeling well and his mother puts him to bed with a dose of camomile tea.
This Beswick Figurine has Peter lying in his bed and his mother giving him a dose of the camomile tea. It was taken from the illustration right at the beginning of the book. It has the Backstamp BP-10a and was first produced in 1998. It was retired in 2002
