This dear little chap was only produced by Royal Albert and not by Beswick. In beatrix Potter’s story The Tailor of Gloucester there is great consternation as there is ‘no more twist’ eventually the problem is solved when the Tailor’s cat Simpkin goes out into the night to get some.
The figurine was issued in 1992 and discontinued in 1997 and has the BP-6a back-stamp.
